Allan Skidmore

Chief Executive Officer

With over 30 years of experience in senior management roles, Allan Skidmore provides invaluable vision and leadership to Skidmore Group. Mr. Skidmore has served as a director of TSX-listed companies as well as Chairman of the Vancouver Board of Trade.

Garry Skidmore


Garry Skidmore serves as the President of Skidmore Group. He has 23 years of hands-on operational experience in senior management, franchising, partnerships and sole ownership. As a leader of the Skidmore Group, Garry provides investment direction, operational expertise and strategy to the portfolio companies. During his tenure, Garry has successfully bought and revitalized dozens of organizations. He has a Bachelor of Business degree from Trinity Western University.


Rick Christiaanse

Chief Commercial Officer

Rick Christiaanse is an award-winning senior executive with a track record of driving profits and enterprise value. His breadth of experience working for both multinationals and startups include Telus, ClearNet and GLENTEL. Rick has in-depth knowledge of both private and public sectors and an international background in Europe, Asia and North America. Rick has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and a Chartered Director in Corporate Governance from McMaster University.


Michael Darby

Chief Financial Officer

Michael Darby is responsible for the collective finance, administration and IT functions of all Skidmore Group entities. Over his 15-year tenure with the organization, Michael has gained significant experience operating, acquiring and divesting of businesses. Prior to joining the Skidmore Group, he worked in senior finance roles at private and public companies in the retail, distribution, manufacturing and service sectors. Michael is a CPA, CMA and has a Bachelor of Administration from the University of Western Ontario.


Todd Nelson

Director of Finance

Todd Nelson joined the Skidmore Group in August 2016 as Director of Finance for TCG Capital, a newly created investing entity. His responsibilities include overseeing and reporting on the activities of a number of the Skidmore family's private entities and endeavours, including accounting, tax, financing, investing and property management. Todd brings 25 years of experience in public practice, private industry and the public sector, including his 15-year tenure as the head of finance for a retail chain of major appliance stores in British Columbia.



Nadine Harrison


Nadine Harrison has been a team member at Skidmore since 2008, providing both payroll and benefit administration to more than 300+ employees throughout North America. She has a breadth of experience in legal and accounts payable in addition to her expertise in payroll. Nadine has her PCP designation from the Canadian Payroll Association, executing her role with confidence. Nadine has been featured as the “VIPP” (Very Important Payroll Person) in an issue of Dialogue Magazine, which is the CPA’s quarterly publication. She thinks that the best thing about a payroll career is that there is never a dull moment! Payroll Administrators are required to stay compliant with all state, provincial and federal legislation and employment standards, all while making sure employees are paid accurately and on time.


Matthew Cosar

Marketing Manager

Matthew carves paths to meaningful change. Prior to joining Skidmore, Matthew gained experience with global product launches at TomTom, intrapreneurship and new brand development at Glentel and sales management with Virgin Mobile. He holds a dual degree BBA in International Business and Management Studies from Hogeschool Zeeland University (the Netherlands) and Okanagan College. He was a recent participant of e@UBC startup program and on the winning team of ProtoHack Vancouver Spring 2016.


Rody van Vianen

Manager of Process Improvement

Rody enjoys being part of the Skidmore team since joining the company in early 2016. In his role as a Manager of Process Improvement, Rody facilitates and supports executive decision making through financial and strategic data analysis, which ranges anywhere from software selection, product portfolio decisions to reviewing potential merger & acquisition opportunities. In addition, his experience at GLENTEL, Accenture and the Law Society allows him to work with the local brand teams to implement the strategic and process improvement initiatives selected by the management team. Rody loves teamwork, and the fact that there is never a dull moment at Skidmore Group. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Rody has successfully pursued Master degrees in Marketing and Information Management at Macquarie University, Sydney, and the University of Amsterdam, respectively.


Jessy MacDonald MacDonald

Digital Marketing Coordinator

Jessy MacDonald joined the Skidmore Group in early 2017 as a Digital Marketing Coordinator for Skidmore Group. Her responsibilities include identifying online marketing opportunities and creating, planning and executing digital media plans and content strategies for a number of the Skidmore Group's Investments. Jessy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Marketing Management, and brings along experience in SEO, SEM, Google Analytics and Adwords. She looks forward exploring new brands and industries as Skidmore Group transitions into a diversified portfolio company.
