The Opening of Skidmore Hall

September 27, 2017, Langley, B.C: Trinity Western University (TWU) celebrated the opening of Skidmore Hall, a new student residence building on the Langley campus. This is the first new dormitory building in 25 years on TWU’s Langley campus and was dedicated on September 27, 2017. TWU is the largest and fastest growing Christian university in Canada, and Skidmore Hall will help facilitate that growth by providing out of town students with on-campus housing. The building will house 130 students, predominantly in their first year.

This new residence is named “Skidmore Hall” in honour of the Skidmore family who is both alumni and long-time supporters of TWU. “We are pleased and honoured to be a part of the growth of TWU. I had the privilege of attending TWU to complete my undergraduate degree and am pleased to have many family members be a part of this amazing university. It is a great privilege to give back to the community that helped foster my education and growth, and to provide the next generation of students with the resources needed to succeed,” said Garry Skidmore.
